Late Push Not Enough as Women’s Soccer Falls 2-1 to Waldorf
EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka women’s soccer team came up short in a 2-1 battle against Waldorf on Sunday afternoon at McKinzie Field. A second half goal by Addison Byers cut the lead in half, but the Red Devils were unable to find the equalizer in the closing minutes.

ST. LOUIS, MO. – Eureka's Emaryon Byrd (Peoria, Ill./Manual) and Peewee Brown (Peoria, Ill./Manual) have been selected to the SLIAC All-Conference team. Byrd earned Second Team honors, while Brown was named to the Third Team.

ST. LOUIS, MO. – Eureka’s Miya Webb (Indianapolis, Ind./Brownsburg) and Maxine Najera (Riverside, Calif./Hillcrest) have earned spots on the SLIAC All-Conference teams. Webb secured First Team honors, while Najera was named to the Second Team. This marks Eureka’s first time since 2021 with two players earning All-Conference recognition.
