EUREKA — The Eureka women's soccer team matched bodies with St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Principia in a physical conference battle on Tuesday evening.

And when it was over, the Panthers had come away with a 7-0 win.

Hannah Sipe scored two goals for the visitors, while Brittany Ouellette, Desmar Ngei, Georgia Rather and Hannah Hathaway each punched in one.

The Panthers notched four in the first half and three in the second.

Sophomore goalkeeper Abby Swope (Canton, Ill./Canton) made seven saves for the Red Devils in the loss. Swope, who is third on EC's all-time saves list, is now up to 159 on the season and 396 in her career.

Madison Shines (Marengo, Ill./Marengo Community) put two shots on goal and led many exciting attacks for the Red Devils.
