EUREKAPhoenix Johnson (Bartonville, Ill./Limestone H.S.) scored her third goal of the season to become the 21st player in program history with at least three career goals and Abby Swope (Canton, Ill./Canton H.S.) made 17 saves in goal, but visiting Faith Baptist Bible secured an 11-1 non-conference victory over the Eureka College women's soccer team, Thursday afternoon at Traister Field.

Johnson closed the scoring in the first half with an unassisted tally at 37:20. Her strike moved her into a four-way tie for 18th place on Eureka's all-time goals list with Ashley Samuels (2007-10), Jenna Werking (2008-09) and Rachel Pouliot (2016).

Swope's 99 saves are already eighth on Eureka's career list and 11th on the Red Devils' single-season rankings.

Eureka will open St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play next Saturday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. versus Fontbonne at Traister Field.
