Eureka Improves to 11-1 With Win Over Bryant & Stratton
EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka men’s volleyball team pushed its winning streak to five matches Friday night, bouncing back from a first set loss to defeat Bryant & Stratton in four sets, 23-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-21. The Red Devils improved to 11-1 on the season with the victory.
Red Devils Drop Road Game at Lyon
BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Eureka men’s basketball team ran into a hot-shooting Lyon squad Thursday night, falling 87-43 on the road as the Scots separated themselves with decisive runs in each half. Transition play and perimeter shooting proved pivotal, with Lyon capitalizing for a 27-2 edge in points off turnovers and knocking down 10 three-pointers after failing to connect from deep in the teams’ Jan. 10 overtime matchup.
Strong First Half Fades as Eureka Falls at Lyon
BATESVILLE, Ark. – A tightly contested first half gave way to a difficult third quarter for the Eureka women’s basketball team, as the Red Devils fell to Lyon 87-60 on the road Thursday night.
