Eureka Stumbles Sunday at St. Mary-of-the-Woods

ST. MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. -- The Eureka College women's soccer team took its second out-of-state road trip of the 2017 season on Sunday, dropping a 14-0 non-conference decision at USCAA St. Mary-of-the-Woods.

A scholarship program based outside Terre Haute, Ind., the Pomeroys got the match-winning goal from Hannah Miller in the 10th minute. Sunshine Nowak-Wolff (Crete, Ill./Crete-Monee H.S.) made nine saves for the Red Devils on Sunday and now ranks sixth in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with 27 saves in 2017.

Eureka will visit its third different state in an 11-day stretch on Tuesday when the Red Devils travel to Milwaukee, Wis. for a 3 p.m. kickoff against NCAA Division III independent Mount Mary.
