EUREKA – Spalding scored five goals in each half en route to a 10-0 win at Eureka on Saturday.
Melaney Frick and Faith Rutherford each recorded hat tricks, Dori Emig scored twice, and Elle Trentman and Baeli Young each found the back of the net, too.
Eureka goalkeeper Madi Jernigan (Bartonville, Ill./Limestone/Blackburn) tallied 16 saves in her career debut. Daniela Gonazales (Peoria, Ill./Richwoods/Lincoln) put one shot on goal for the Red Devils.
