ANKENY, Iowa — The Eureka women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 non-conference match at Faith Baptist Bible on Saturday.
The home team had four different goal scorers: Lyndi Shepard, Abby Zollinger, Carrigan McCoid and Aubee Smith.
Shepard put Faith Baptist on the board off an assist by Zollinger in the 30th minute and Zollinger returned the favor off a Shepard assist two minutes later.
In the second half, McCoid scored unassisted and Zollinger recorded her second assist of the day by feeding Smith in the 72nd.
EC junior Michaela Mall (Princeton, Ill./Princeton) was responsible for the Red Devils' lone shot on goal, and goalkeeper Abby Swope (Canton, Ill./Canton) tallied 22 saves on the day.
The Red Devils (0-3) will travel to Edgewood on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. non-conference contest.
