Women’s Soccer Falls at Monmouth

MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Eureka women's soccer team suffered a 10-0 loss at Monmouth on Tuesday night.

The Scots jumped out to an early lead, scoring goals in the 6th and 7th minutes. They continued to control the game, adding two more goals before halftime. Monmouth then scored six more times in the second half to secure a 10-0 victory.

The Red Devils were unable to register a shot during the match, while Monmouth recorded 45 shots, with 19 on target. Freshman goalkeeper Hannah Jachimiak (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley) played the full 90 minutes and made a career-high of 9 saves.
