EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka women's soccer team suffered a tough loss in their first match of the 2024 season, by a 13-0 scoreline at McKinzie Field on Tuesday night.
The Regents got on the scoreboard early and never looked back, scoring in the 8th minute of the contest.
The Red Devils were able to generate just 3 shots and 2 shots on frame.
Freshmen goalkeepers Hannah Jachimiak (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley) and Megan Edwards (Manchester, Mich./Manchester) each got one half in net for the Red Devils. Jachimiak started the match in goal and recorded 4 saves. Edwards entered the game at the beginning of the second half and recorded 6 saves.
