ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Eureka women's soccer team struggled on the road, suffering a tough 10-0 defeat against Webster on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils got off to a slow start, as Webster scored three goals within the first ten minutes, establishing a commanding lead early on. The Gorloks continued to dominate, adding four more goals before halftime to head into the break with a 8-0 advantage. They capped off the match with three additional goals in the second half, ultimately securing the victory with a final score of 10-0.
Webster outshot Eureka 40-0 and managed 21 shots on target. Goalkeeper Hannah Jachimiak (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley) made 10 saves for the Red Devils in 81 minutes of play.
