EUREKA – The Eureka College women's soccer team lost its first St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match of 2018 in Saturday's 9-0 setback to Fontbonne at Traister Field.
The Griffins received the match-winning goal from Molly Kovarik in the sixth minute her first of three goals Saturday afternoon. The visitors led 7-0 at halftime.
Following seven consecutive home matches to begin the season in a span of 29 days, the Red Devils will hit the road for the first time this fall on Wednesday in a 1 p.m. conference kickoff at Iowa Wesleyan in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
