EUREKA – The Greenville women' soccer team was difficult to contain for the Eureka at McKinzie Field on Wednesday.
The Panthers put away six goals in the first half and four in the second to snag a 10-0 win.
Ashley Johnston Cabral scored four time for the visitors. Athena Haggerman notched two, and Emma Cadwell, Jen De Leon De Leon, Idaly Valenzuela each found the back of the net once.
Playing shorthanded due to a slew of injuries, the Red Devils fought in their defensive third for most the match.
Freshman goalkeeper Lizzie Brooksher (Saint Charles, Mo./Saint Charles) posted 17 saves for the maroon and gold. Senior Daniela Gonazlez (Peoria, Ill./Richwoods/Lincoln) recorded a pair of shots.
Eureka (2-7, 1-6 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) will next face Westminster (4-1-2, 5-3-2) on the road on Saturday at 1 p.m.
