EUREKA – For the first time in his career, Eureka's Jack Arnett (Princeville, Ill./Princeville) is a member of the D3football.com Team of the Week.

The fifth-year senior safety recorded a career-high 13 total tackles, had two huge pass breakups and recorded a game-changing interception in the fourth quarter that allowed Eureka to fend off Rockford in a 35-28 victory at McKinzie Field on Saturday.

With the Regents leading by seven points and threatening to pull away in the fourth quarter, Arnett ripped the ball out of the hands of a receiver in the end zone, and the Red Devils went on to complete a late comeback. He finished with a career-high 11 solo tackles.

Arnett is the first Red Devil to be named to the D3football.com Team of the Week since Pierce Bradford on April 6, 2021.

Eureka is off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2018 and will next host St. Norbert (2-1, 1-0 NACC) at McKinzie Field on Saturday at 1 p.m.
