Le’Anthony Reasnover Earns National Preseason Honor

EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka College senior running back Le'Anthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.) has been named to the College Football America 2018 Yearbook's NCAA Division III Starting Lineup, according to a Sunday announcement from the publication. Reasnover, one of two running backs listed on CFA's version of a preseason All-America Team, will enter his final collegiate season as the Red Devils' all-time leading rusher with 3,849 yards.

Through 30 career games, Reasnover has established himself as the top running back in program history and established six EC rushing records. He will enter 2018 as the active NCAA leader across all three Divisions with 11.6 points scored per game, ranks second among active NCAA players with 55 rushing touchdowns and his 3,849 career rushing yards rank third among active players in all three NCAA Divisions.

He also set single-season Eureka records in 2017 with 1,875 yards and 31 touchdowns, as well as single-game records with 355 yards in a victory over St. Scholastica on Oct. 28, 2017 and seven rushing touchdowns at Martin Luther on Nov. 4, 2017. He was an American Football Coaches Association All-American, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a D3football.com All-Region honoree in 2017.

In all, 23 teams are represented in the NCAA Division III Starting Lineup. Washington & Lee sophomore Josh Breece was the other running back to receive the preseason honor.

The College Football America 2018 Yearbook features more than 930 college football teams from the United States and Canada. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada).

Reasnover and the Red Devils are scheduled to return to campus on Thursday, Aug. 9 in advance of the team's first preseason practice in the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 10. Eureka will open its 115th season on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 1 p.m. versus Knox in the seventh annual Lincoln Bowl in Galesburg, Ill.
