ST. PAUL, Minn. – Forty-eight hours removed from a dominant performance that included new career highs of 42 carries and 274 rushing yards, Eureka College junior running back LeAnthony Reasnover (Momence, Ill./Momence H.S.) has been selected Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

The announcement marks Reasnover's second Player of the Week award from the UMAC in 2017 and the fifth of his career.

Reasnover helped lead the Red Devils in their 37-20 UMAC win at MacMurray, putting up the third-highest single-game rushing total in program history. His 274 yards were the highest individual EC total since Brett Dyche ran for 286 yards in a 17-14 Illini-Badger Football Conference victory at Concordia (Ill.) on Oct. 26, 1985. Additionally, Reasnover's 42 rushes on Saturday were the most by a Red Devil since Justin Dempsey rushed 44 times on the same MacMurray field on Nov. 3, 2007.

After eight games, Reasnover's 1,227 rushing yards rank sixth among all NCAA Division III players. His 20 total touchdowns and 120 points scored rank second nationally.

Reasnover ended Saturday's contest with 3,201 career rushing yards to become Eureka's second 3,000-yard rusher of the modern era. He needs 104 more rushing yards to surpass Derrick Harris' all-time Eureka record of 3,304 rushing yards.

Eureka will try earn its first seven-game win streak since 1991 when UMAC leader St. Scholastica visits McKinzie Field this Saturday for a noon kickoff.
