ST. PAUL, Minn. --  Eureka College sophomore punter Collin Aimone (Spring Valley, Ill./Hall) was selected as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office Tuesday afternoon.  Aimone punted three times in the contests, including a 71-yard punt in the fourth quarter to aid in the Red Devils' 32-21 victory over Knox last Saturday at McKinzie Field.

For the game, Aimone's three punts averaged a NCAA D-III-best 52.3 yards and two of those punts were downed inside the visitor's 20-yard line. He is the first Eureka player to receive UMAC Player of the Week accolades in 2015.

Aimone's honor is a first for a Eureka specialist since teammate Tyler Winders was selected as the POW as a freshman in the final week of the 2013 season.

Aimone and the Red Devils will shoot for their second consecutive victory and first UMAC win on Saturday at Martin Luther. Kickoff in New Ulm, Minn. Is set for 1 p.m.
