Four football players honored on UMAC All-Academic Team

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Four Eureka College football players have been named to the Academic All-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Team, according to an announcement from the league office, Wednesday afternoon. The announcement marks the fourth career selections for senior Aaron Pearlman (Naperville, Ill./Metea Valley H.S.).

Sophomore Trever Zeibert (Monee, Ill./Monee) earned the honor for the second time, while classmates Colton Johnson (Lewistown, Ill./Lewistown [Olivet Nazarene]) and Joe Scott (Flint Hill, Mo./Wentzville Holt) were first time recipients of the annual award.

All student-athletes from UMAC-sponsored sports that receive at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester qualify for the award. A record number of 459 student-athletes received the award for Fall 2015, breaking the previous record of 400 set during the Fall 2014 semester.
