Three Red Devils Receive All-Conference Honors

ST. LOUIS, MO. – A trio of Red Devils came away from the SLIAC Outdoor Track Championships with All-Conference Awards.

Bailey Webster (East Peoria, Ill./East Peoria received 2nd Team All-Conference honors for his effort in the 10,000m run. Webster finished with a time of 34:21, which put him just 5 seconds behind Adam Wellen of Greenville, who finished in 1st place in the 10,000m run.

Tony DeLira (Chicago, Ill./Alcott/Lincoln) ran a time of 36:12 in the 10,000m run and finished just behind Webster to secure 3rd Team All-Conference honors in the 10,000.

Jose Amador (Kempton, Ill./Tri-Point) set a personal record in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:09.14 to secure his spot on the All-Conference Team. Amador was edged out by Rex Heath and Jeremiah Perry of Greenville on his way to a 3rd place finish.

Michael Beaumont (Greenup, Ill./Cumberland) was selected to represent the Red Devils on the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team on the men's side and Isabella Carbajal (Chicago, Ill./Shepard) was chosen to represent the women's team on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

3000m Steeplechase – Jose Amador, Eureka
