EC Cross Country Releases 2020-21 Recruiting Class
EUREKA – Eureka College cross country coach Chris Robinson announced the first five runners to join EC's relaunched program on Thursday.
The recruiting class includes three juniors, one sophomore and one freshman. Two are transfers, two are current Eureka students and one is an incoming freshman. There are three men and two women runners.
"I am really excited with the group coming in this year," Robinson said. "We have a solid mix of talent, experience, and enthusiasm that is going to help us build, and create great traditions here at Eureka College.
Cross country was a club sport at Eureka in 2006, and the school competed in the SLIAC from 2007 to 2016, but it has been dormant since 2017. This fall, EC is planning to compete in six meets, starting with the Titan Opener in Bloomington on Sept. 1.
