Greenville Sweeps Red Devils at SLIAC Tournament, 3-0

GREENVILLE, Ill. — After picking up its first win of the season on Wednesday, the Eureka volleyball team was unable to shake Greenville in the quarterfinals of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday.

As they did twice previously this season, the Panthers took down the Red Devils in three sets, winning 25-15, 25-8, 25-18.

Emma Harris (Streator, Ill./Streator) tallied a team-high six kills for the Red Devils. Corinne DeBoard (Centralia, Ill./Christ Our Rock Lutheran) added five kills.

Regan Reed (Flanagan, Ill./Flanagan-Cornell) came up with a team-high 18 digs, while Jordyn Fox (Pontiac, Ill./Pontiac) and Faith Catour (Orion, Ill./Orion) each had 10. Catour registered 13 assists.

The Red Devils are set to face Spalding in a consolation round match on Tuesday. Time and place are to be determined.
