NINE RED DEVILS PR AT IWU BOB KECK INVITE

BLOOMINGTON, IL. – The Eureka distance team was back in action on Saturday, rising to the challenge of a highly talented field to set nine personal records in the Illinois Wesleyan Bob Keck Invite.

Coach Robinson was thrilled with the team's performance: "We had a strong showing in a meet which featured several nationally ranked DIII student-athletes. The atmosphere was high energy all day and we were able to feed off it and the strong competition. As a combined women's and men's team, we came home with 10 season bests."

Red Devil sophomore Jaden Randall (Secor, Ill./Roanoke-Benson) took on the shortest distance of the day for Eureka's team, finishing her 400 meter dash in 1:15.53 to place 21st in a field of 22, edging out teammate Isabella Carbajal (Chicago, Ill./Shepard) by 1.06 seconds, who recorded a season best with nearly a 2 second improvement.

Rachel Fisher (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) finished 15th in a field of 45 in the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:30.05.
