Jacob Kaminski Named SLIAC Men’s Wrestler of the Week

EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka's Jacob Kaminski has been selected St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week.

In his first meet as a Red Devil, Kaminski secured first place at 285 pounds at the Jim Fox Invite in Dubuque, Iowa. He won all four of his matchups by pin or technical fall. His victory in the finals came by fall in 4:30 against the 18th-ranked wrestler in the nation in the 285-pound weight class.

Kaminski and the Red Devils will take the mat again at the Luther Open in Decorah, Iowa, on Saturday. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
