Women’s Golf Finishes 7th at SLIAC Golf Championship

METAMORA, Ill. – The Eureka women's golf team competed at the SLIAC Championship from Sunday to Tuesday this week, ultimately finishing in seventh place.

Ashlyn Voyles led the way for the Red Devils with a final score of 285 (95, 93, 97) over the three days, placing her 32nd on the individual leaderboard. Just behind Voyles was Gabby Penberthy, who shot a 287 (92, 100, 95) to finish 34th. KayLee Hohlbauch finished third for the Red Devils, scoring 311 (103, 106, 102) to take 39th overall. Sofie Bressner rounded out the field for Eureka with a score of 375 (128, 129, 118), finishing in 47th place.

The Red Devils recorded a total of 394 strokes over par across the three days, with their strongest performance on the final day, when they shot +124.

At the conclusion of the competition, KayLee Hohlbauch was named to the All-SLIAC Sportsmanship Team.
