Olivia Falls Named SLIAC Player of the Week For Third Time

EUREKA — For the third time this season, Eureka's Olivia Falls (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington) is the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

The sophomore forward notched 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds while shooting 7-for-9 from the field and 6-for-7 from the free-throw line in a 93-58 SLIAC victory over MacMurray on Saturday. She also distributed three assists.

It was her fourth 20-point game and eighth 10-rebound performance of the season. She currently leads the SLIAC in field-goal percentage at 57.8, is second in the league behind teammate Ashley Harfst (Saunemin, Ill./Pontiac) in rebounds with 10.6 boards per game and fifth in points per game at 15.4.

The Red Devils are one of five teams tied at the top of the SLIAC standings with a 3-1 record in league play and a 7-4 record overall.
