Camden Named to Preseason All-American List

Senior guard Emily Camden (Green Valley, Ill./Midwest Central) has been named in the honorable mention section of the DIII News Preseason All-American watch list. DIII news is a monthly newsletter of NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Basketball and recently announced their preseason Top 25 polls and Preseason All-American list.

Camden averaged 15.8 points per game and led the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in three-point field goals made (78) and free-throw percentage (89.3) in route to a Second Team All-Conference selection as a junior. Her 78-made three pointers broke the previous school record of 69 made in a single season.

Camden and the Red Devils will tip-off the 2015-16 season on Nov. 13 at midnight at home against the Illinois College Lady Blues. The contest will be the first NCAA basketball contest, on all levels, and the first basketball game in the newly named and renovated Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center.
