BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Eureka men's soccer team recorded a 2-0 non-conference victory at Great Lakes Christian on Friday afternoon.
Teddy Wesoloski (McDonough, Ga./McDonough) put the Red Devils on the board with his second goal of the season in the ninth minute and Jacob Russow (Streator, Ill./Streator/Lincoln) made it 2-0 with his second goal of the season in the 43rd.
Goalkeeper Carson Harvey (Pembroke, Ga./Bryan County) tallied 10 saves and helped preserve Eureka's second straight clean sheet in his first start of the season in net.
Eureka put nine of its 14 shots of the day on frame. Russow had two shots on goal and seven others recorded one.
The Red Devils (5-6-4, 2-2-2 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) will return to league play on Saturday with a 1:30 p.m. matchup against Spalding (6-5-3, 3-2-2 SLIAC) at McKinzie Field.
