 Webster Pulls Away From Eureka in Second Half, 6-0

EUREKA – The Eureka men's soccer team nearly held Webster scoreless for an entire half on Saturday.

However, the Gorloks slipped one through in the 44th minute and tacked on five in the second half to secure a 6-0 win.

James Carr finished with a pair of goals for Webster, while Issac Pearson, Carlos Llams, Aamahn Murvin and Justin Kohler all scored once.

Nathan Macario (Safford, Ariz./Safford) and Will Wiegand (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) each recorded a shot on goal for the Red Devils.

On the other side of the pitch, goalkeeper Bryn Callahan (Moline, Ill./Moline) tallied six saves.

Eureka will head back on the road on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. match at Fontbonne.
