LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Eureka College men's soccer team's shutout streak ended at 202:53 and its win streak ended at two in Saturday's 6-0 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference defeat at Spalding in Louisville, Ky.

Trustun Ashburn scored on an assist from Mirza Ugarak in the 23rd minute, the first goal allowed by the Red Devils since last weekend's overtime defeat at Westminster. SU's Kornell Hilliard made it 2-0 just 61 seconds before halftime on an assist from Michael Gill.

Eureka maintained the manageable two-goal deficit for much of the second half, but the flood gates opened over the contest's final 20 minutes. Spalding scored four times in a stretch of 11 minutes, 30 seconds to turn a tight battle into a six-goal advantage.

Moises Aldana (Spring Valley, Ill./Hall H.S.) made 10 saves in the full 90 minutes. James Bowen (Homer Glen, Ill./Seneca H.S.) was credited with both of Eureka's shots on goal for the match.

The Red Devils continue league play Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at Principia in Elsah, Ill.
