EUREKA, Ill. – Blackburn scored four times in the second half to turn a slim halftime lead into a 6-0 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over the Eureka College men's soccer team, Saturday afternoon at McKinzie Field.

Zeek Jackson scored his first of two goals on the afternoon in the 15th minute in what held up to be the match-winner. Bobby Nash tacked on a tally at 37:33 for the Beavers to lead 2-0 at halftime.

Jackson's 60th-minute strike sparked a barrage of three BC goals in an 11-minute stretch.

Seven different Red Devils attempted a shot Saturday. James Bowen (Homer Glen, Ill./Seneca H.S.) and Michael Hansen (Peoria, Ill./Limestone H.S.) put their attempts on frame, but BC goalkeepers Alex Hammerlinck and Austin Presley combined to produce a clean sheet.

Eureka will be back home Tuesday at 5 p.m. against Iowa Wesleyan at McKinzie Field.
