EC’s Jordan Dehm Named SLIAC Player of the Week for First Time

EUREKA – For the first time in his career, Eureka's Jordan Dehm (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) is the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

The 6-foot-6 senior garnered the Red Devils' third Player of the Week honor of the season on Monday after averaging 25.5 points, 5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in a pair of SLIAC contest last week. Dakota Bennington (Peoria, Ill./Peoria Christian) was twice named Player of the Week in December.

Dehm shot 48.6 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from 3-point range and went 15-for-19 from the free-throw line.

On Saturday, Dehm racked up a game-high 31 points, team-high eight rebounds and a game-high six assists in the Red Devils' 85-79 triumph over Webster. 

He has now reached 30 points in three of the Red Devils' last four game, averaging 29 points during that stretch.

All told, he's averaging 20.6 points and 7.3 rebounds while shooting 53.5 percent from the field and 48.1 percent from distance this season.

The Red Devils (10-5, 5-3 SLIAC) will take on Greenville (6-8, 5-2 SLIAC) on the road on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
