Ethan McDonald Named SLIAC Pitcher of the Week

EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka's Ethan McDonald (Mannford, Okla./Mannford) has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

McDonald made an unforgettable first impression in his collegiate pitching debut on March 10 against Maranatha Baptist, delivering a dominant performance on the mound. The freshman right-hander threw a complete-game no-hitter, striking out 16 batters over seven innings to secure his first career victory in commanding fashion.

Building on that momentum, McDonald took the mound again on March 15 against Wooster. He pitched 5.2 innings, allowing three runs on four hits while striking out four.

McDonald and the Red Devils will return to action tomorrow on the road against Wabash. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
