Bio

Deakin was a four-year starter and a two-year captain for the EC women's basketball team. She received All-Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference honors in back-to-back years in 2004-2005, as well as NIIC All-Academic honors in 2005.

Deakin is EC's career leader in steals since 1993 with 306 swipes. One of 17 players in program history to reach 1,000 career points (1,105), she also ranks tied for second in games played (106), fifth in assists (336) and tied for 10th in career free-throw attempts (322).
