Fifteen Red Devils Receive Fall SLIAC All-Academic Honors

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Eureka men's soccer and cross country programs led the way in the classroom, with men's soccer placing eight student-athletes on the SLIAC All-Academic Honors list and cross country placing seven.

The following student-athletes represented the men's soccer team: Ayden Bencher (Morton, Ill./Morton), Michael DeCarlo (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais), Jake Edmondson (Monticello, Ill./Monticello), Carson Harvey (Pembroke, Ga./Bryan County), Mason Mroz (Oak Lawn, Ill./Brother Rice), and Ben Williamson (Monticello, Ill./Monticello). The cross country program was represented by Hayden Skaggs (Mansfield, Texas/Mansfield), Emily Baker (Washington, Ill./Washington), Isabella Carbajal (Chicago, Ill./Shepard), Rachel Fisher (Metamora, Ill./Metamora), and Odessa Grove (Lewistown, Ill./Lewistown). Dual-sport athletes Michael Beaumont (Greenup, Ill./Cumberland) and Tucker Williamson (Monticello, Ill./Monticello) represented both programs.

Additionally, Claire Schaffner (Delavan, Ill./Delavan) represented the Eureka volleyball team, and KayLee Hohlbauch (Arcola, Ill./Arcola) represented the women's golf team.

To be eligible for the award, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, be at least a sophomore in academic standing, and have completed at least one full year at their current institution.
