Eureka College Athletics to Host Recruit Day on Nov. 9

EUREKA – The Eureka College Department of Athletics will host a 2019 recruit day for prospective student-athletes on Saturday, Nov. 9 in conjunction with Eureka College Family Day and the Red Devils' home football game versus Concordia Wisconsin. The event, open to both high school students and college transfer students, will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. in the Reagan Athletic Complex.

A welcome by Director of Athletics Bryan Moore and Dean of Enrollment Management Mac Ingmire will begin at 10 a.m., followed by an official campus tour at 10:30 a.m. Recruit day attendees and their families will be invited to join the Red Devils' pregame football tailgate for lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m., leading into the football team's 1 p.m. kickoff inside McKinzie Field.

More than 200 Eureka College students compete in intercollegiate athletics annually. Eureka College sponsors 10 NCAA Division III sports and has competed as a full-time member of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference since 2007. The EC football program, which has won outright conference titles in 2017 and 2018, has been an affiliate member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference since 2018. Men's sports offerings include baseball, basketball, football, golf and soccer. Women's sports offerings include basketball, golf, soccer, softball and volleyball.

The Red Devils have claimed seven conference regular-season and tournament championships since February 2017, including NCAA Division III Tournament bids for football (2017, 2018), women's basketball (2017), men's basketball (2019) and softball (2019).
