EUREKA COLLEGE ATHLETIC TRAINING/SPORTS MEDICINE

Our Mission

To provide quality athletic and personal healthcare to our student-athletes through the care, prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and management of athletic injury/personal illness, thus enabling our student-athletes to participate and compete at their maximum performance level.

If an athlete or athletic injury require any additional or immediate medical attention Carle Eureka Hospital is our official hospital and located just minutes from the campus. In addition, Eureka College athletic training/sports medicine has established working relationships with area orthopedic, general medicine physicians, and chiropractic to meet the needs of our student-athlete.

Location

The Eureka College athletic training room is located on campus within the Ronald W. Reagan Athletic Complex. It is equipped with the therapeutic modalities, equipment, and supplies used to treat and rehabilitate most injuries common to athletics. Also located within the Reagan Athletic Complex is the Bonati Fitness Center, which offers a variety of matrix cardio-fitness equipment and weight fitness machines to assist in returning our student-athletes to sport. During the academic day, the athletic training room is staffed by our head athletic trainer, which allows our student-athletes to receive care in a timely manner without leaving campus and losing valuable academic time.
