ELSAH, Ill. -- Eureka took its final road trip of the 2018 season Saturday morning, coming up empty in a 25-20, 25-21, 25-19 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference setback at Principia in Elsah, Ill.
Kary Langan (Lakewood, Ill./Shelbyville H.S.) paced the offense with eight kills. Lexi Dooley (Sutter, Ill./Warsaw H.S.) followed with seven. Madison Gayheart (Penfield, Ill./Armstrong H.S.) contributed 20 digs and Caitlin Miller (Washington, Ill./Washington H.S.) put up a pair of service aces.
Eureka will play its final two matches of the season at home, including a 7 p.m. league start Wednesday at Greenville.
