GALESBURG, Ill. – Eureka College freshman opposite Heather Robinson (Peoria, Ill./Limestone) tallied eight kills, five assists and six digs, but the host Knox earned a 25-14, 25-11, 25-16 victory over the Red Devils inside Memorial Gymnasium in Galesburg, Ill.
Freshman outside hitter Lexi Dooley (Sutter, Ill./Warsaw) also chipped in six digs, while sophomore setter Meagan Hanney(Sherman, Ill./Williamsville) collected 13 assists. The pair also added two blocks apiece.
Eureka will travel to Jacksonville, Ill. Saturday for a pair of SLIAC contests against MacMurray and Blackburn. The first matchup against the Highlanders is scheduled for 11 a.m.
