Eureka Falls in Four against Blackburn

EUREKA, Ill. – Blackburn College's Alanni Young collected a game-high 16 kills and adding one solo block, leading the visiting Beavers to a 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 25-18 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory, Saturday afternoon inside the Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center.

Freshman outside hitter Lexi Dooley (Sutter, Ill./Warsaw) tallied a team-high 15 kills, while sophomore outside hitter Anna Gauger (El Paso, Ill./El Paso-Gridley) added 11.

Freshman opposite Heather Robinson (Peoria, Ill./Limestone) collected a double-double with 13 assists and 15 digs for the host.

The Red Devils will return to action at home on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. nonconference contest againt Robert Morris-Springfield. The Red Devils and Eagles met earlier in the season, with Eureka taking a 3-1 victory at Eureka Middle School.
