Canton High School: Batted .448 with 175 hits, 132 runs scored and 90 stolen bases in 390 at-bats … Four-time First Team All-Mid-Illini selection … Received Second Team All-State honors as a senior and Third Team All-State honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior … Was named to the All-Area Team as a junior and senior … Received Second Team All-Mid-Illini honors in basketball … National Honors Society member.
