EC Baseball Announces 2022-23 Recruiting Class

EUREKA – Eureka baseball coach Jerry Rashid announced the addition of 17 players to the program on Thursday.

The class features 10 freshmen, three sophomores, three juniors and one senior. The majority are in-state talents, while two are from Idaho and one is from Colorado.

The Red Devils are set to also welcome back many players from last year's squad, which recorded 16 wins for only the fourth time in the program's modern era and the second time in Rashid's five-year tenure.

"We are excited to add these student-athletes to our baseball program," Rashid said. "They will fill the needs left by our graduating class and strengthen us on the mound, at the plate and defensively. We look forward to seeing them this season in a Eureka uniform."
