Eureka drops a pair of conference contests at Blackburn

CARLINVILLE, Ill. – The Eureka College baseball team dropped a pair of conference contests on the road to the Blackburn Beavers, Wednesday afternoon in Carlinville, Ill.

Freshman Grant Mullin (Hegewisch, Ill./St. Rita) collected a two-run single for the Red Devils in third, providing Eureka with their only runs of the contest.

Eureka found success at the plate in game two, scoring five runs on seven hits. Sophomore Trever Zeibert (Monee, Ill./Peotone) blasted his first home run of the season while Mullin tacked on an RBI-double to finish the day with three runs driven in and a pair of hits.

The Red Devils are home tomorrow with a single non-conference contest against Robert Morris-Peoria. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
