ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka senior outside hitter Lexi Dooley (Sutter, Ill./Warsaw H.S.) has been named to the All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Third Team, according to an announcement from Commissioner Dr. Dick Kaiser at Saturday’s SLIAC Tournament in St. Louis, Mo.

Seniors Pave the Way in Red Devils’ Win Over MacMurray

EUREKA – Eureka closed out the 2018 season in grand fashion Saturday during Senior Day at Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena, sailing to a 25-20, 25-15, 17-25, 25-18 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over MacMurray. The Red Devils’ senior class of Lexi Dooley (Sutter, Ill./Warsaw H.S.), Haley Holzem (Normal, Ill./Normal West H.S.) and Heather Robinson (Peoria, Ill./Limestone H.S.) combined for 26 kills, 23 assists and 32 digs in the four-set win.

Greenville Outlasts Eureka in Four-Set Triumph

EUREKA -- Eureka rode a major wave of momentum midway through Wednesday's St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match against Greenville, but the Panthers used a fast start and held off the Red Devils late as well to secure a 25-11, 22-25, 25-10, 29-27 victory over the Red Devils at Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center.

Monmouth Tops Red Devils in Non-Conference Finale

MONMOUTH, Ill. – Kary Langan (Lakewood, Ill./Shelbyville H.S.) smashed a career-high 13 kills without a mistake and Annaliese Miller (Chenoa, Ill./Prairie Central H.S.) also logged a personal best with 11 kills and 14 digs for her first collegiate double-double, but Eureka couldn’t sustain a red-hot start in a 15-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-21 non-conference loss at Monmouth, Tuesday night in Monmouth, Ill. Tuesday’s match represented the Red Devils’ final non-conference match of 2018.

Red Devils Stopped Short in Friday Quad

EUREKA -- The Eureka College volleyball team went to the limit in Friday's St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match against Iowa Wesleyan at the Reagan Athletic Complex, falling just short in a 25-23, 16-15, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12 setback to the Tigers. EC also dropped the late match to Principia in four games, 26-24, 23-25, 25-22, 25-10.

Blackburn Rises Over Red Devils in Five Sets

The Red Devils will visit longtime non-conference rival Lincoln Christian Tuesday at 7 p.m. before visiting former league foe Benedictine Wednesday at 7 p.m.

One Up, One Down For Red Devils Saturday in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Eureka College volleyball team secured its second St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory of the season in a 25-14, 25-21, 25-22 neutral-site sweep of Fontbonne, Saturday afternoon on the campus of MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Ill. The Red Devils went the distance in its early match versus Westminster before falling to the preseason league favorites in five games.
