ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka College senior outside hitter Anna Crank (Washburn, Ill./Midland H.S./Clarke) has been selected St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, according to a Monday announcement from the league office. Crank, Eureka's first SLIAC Player of the Week since Oct. 15, 2012, had 29 kills in two matches last week.

Crank finished last Tuesday's league victory over Iowa Wesleyan with 12 kills and a .375 attack percentage. She followed that effort with 17 kills and a pair of service aces at Lincoln Christian on Thursday. She also had 12 digs and six total blocks against the Red Lions for her sixth double-double of the season.

On the season, Crank ranks third in the SLIAC with 3.76 kills per set, fifth with 143 kills overall and sixth with a .211 attack percentage. She is the first SLIAC Player of the Week from Eureka since Courtney Kincaid earned the league's defensive honor on Oct. 25, 2012, and the first EC hitter to receive the award since Heather Myers on Sept. 21, 2009.

Crank and the Red Devils begin a five-match homestand Tuesday night at 6 p.m. against SLIAC leader Webster at Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena.
