Becca Idell Announces Summer Youth Volleyball Camp Dates

EUREKA, Ill. – Second-year Eureka College volleyball head coach Becca Idell has announced a series of dates for the 2017 Eureka College Volleyball Camp. EC will host a youth camp and an all-skills camp June 12-15, a strength and skills camp on June 24 and an elite camp on July 17-20. All camps will take place at Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena.

The youth camp on June 12-15 is available to girls entering grades one through five. The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. each day and will be a fun introduction to volleyball. Campers will learn and develop new skills. Check-in begins each day at 8 a.m. and the cost is $80.

The all-skills camp on June 12-15 will be for girls entering grades six through eight and will feature drills and team competition aimed to focus on fundamentals. The camp runs from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. each day. The cost will be $80 and check-in is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. each day.

An all-day strength and skills camp is set for June 24 for girls entering grades nine through 12. The camp will serve as an introduction to strength and conditioning specific to volleyball, paired with competitive volleyball drills and activities. The one-day camp will run from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Check-in begins at 7:45 a.m. and lunch will be provided.

The final camp of the summer is an elite camp for girls entering grades nine through 12 on July 17-20. The camp will include drills and team competition to focus on collegiate level skill development. The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. each day with check-in beginning at 8 a.m. Lunch will be provided each day.
