EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College volleyball team hosted St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent, the Westminster Blue Jays, falling in straight sets, 25-16, 25-16, 25-13, Tuesday night at Eureka High School.

Freshman opposite Heather Robinson (Peoria, Ill./Limestone) continued her excellent freshman campaign, lead the host with 10 kills and chipping in six digs. Sophomore setter Meagan Hanney(Sherman, Ill./Williamsville) recorded 12 assists for Eureka.

Junior defensive specialist Emily Harrod (Eureka, Ill./Eureka) led the way with seven digs, while sophomore outside hitter Beth Mickna (Deer Creek, Ill./Dee-Mack) tacked on a pair of solo blocks and one assisted block.

Eureka will host their first conference quad match since the 2013 season this weekend when with MacMurray, Fontbonne and Spalding rounding out the group. The Red Devils will face MacMurray at 11 a.m. followed by Fontbonne at 1 p.m.
