Principia shuts down Eureka

ELSAH, Ill. – Principia's Emily Tippetts tallied eight kills and no errors on 14 attempts, adding three blocks, leading the host Panthers to a 25-9, 25-9, 26-24 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over the Eureka College volleyball team, Tuesday night at Hay Field House in Elsah, Ill.

Eureka freshman Heather Robison (Peoria, Ill./Bartonville) and classmate Ava Patterson (Emden, Ill./Hartsburg-Emden) each picked up four kills apiece, while sophomore setter Meagan Hanney (Sherman, Ill./Williamsville) supplied 12 digs, her eighth double-digit dig total of the season.

Eureka will be back at home Thursday for their final SLIAC home matchup against the Iowa Wesleyan Tigers. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
