ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Eureka College volleyball team lost its final match of 2015 season Tuesday at Fontbonne, falling in a 25-15, 25-4, 25-13 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference decision.
Sophomore middle hitter Anna Gauger (El Paso, Ill./El Paso-Gridley) and freshman opposite hitter Ava Patterson(Emden, Ill./Hartsburg-Emden) each tallied a team-high four kills apiece. Sophomore setter Megan Hanney (Sherman, Ill./Williamsville) finished with 10 assists, finishing the season with 349 assists and now sits at 626 career assists.
Freshman Jordan Detmers (Hartsburg, Ill./Hartsburg-Emden) tacked on 10 digs, while sophomore outside hitter Beth Mickna (Deer Creek, Ill./Dee-Mack) chipped in two total blocks.
The Red Devils conclude their 2015 season and the second season under head coach Jess Brown. A young ground, the Red Devils are able to return every player next season from this season's squad.
