Elmhurst Bests Red Devils, 10-0
EUREKA – The Eureka women's soccer team dropped 10-0 non-conference contest against a much-improved Elmhurst squad.
The visiting Blue Jays posted eight goals in the first half and netted two more in the second half.
Eureka's Isabella Tolentino (Mendota, Ill./Mendota) drew a foul in the box in the final minute, but her penalty-kick attempt was hauled in by the keeper to preserve the clean sheet.
Eureka (0-5) will open St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Tuesday at Principia (0-6).
