EUREKA – The Eureka women's soccer team fell to Webster 10-0 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on a windy Tuesday afternoon at McKinzie Field.
The Gorloks notched five goals in each half, with three different players recording multiple goals: Grace Rodgers, Reaghan Young and Maryin Soto. Jordan Bilyeu, Mackenzie O'Neal, Abbey Poe and Payton Harting all scored once.
Eureka goalkeeper Lizzie Brooksher (Saint Charles, Mo./Saint Charles) had her hands full with the Gorloks attack. The freshman recorded 25 saves on the day.
Sophomore Jenna Kinney (Washington, Ill./Washington) had a pair of shots on goal and Daniela Gonazales (Peoria, Ill./Richwoods/Lincoln) had one.
The Red Devils (2-5, 1-4 SLIAC) will next head to Fontbonne (4-1-2, 4-0 SLIAC) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
