Hayley Reneau Repeats as SLIAC Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Another week of St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball competition brought another SLIAC Player of the Week award for Eureka College senior guard Hayley Reneau (Washington, Ill./Washington H.S./Illinois Central). Reneau, who led the Red Devils to a league win over Spalding last Wednesday, has now received the honor four times this season.

Reneau tallied 24 points in the Red Devils' fourth consecutive SLIAC win, a 77-69 triumph over the Golden Eagles at Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena. The league leader in both scoring and steals this season, she added six steals, three assists, three blocks and was a perfect 5-for-5 at the charity stripe. The win was Eureka's 100th regular-season SLIAC victory in program history.

Eureka has now claimed five of the SLIAC's first seven weekly honors this season.

The Red Devils will hit the road Wednesday for a 6 p.m. SLIAC matchup with Westminster in Fulton, Mo.
